The ’Guns don’t kill people, people kill people’ argument IS the conclusion, it is not an opening statement. Guns do not occur in nature: they are manufactured by people. A gun, left to itself, will NEVER fire.
If guns are outlawed because they can be used to kill people, why not outlaw knives because they can be used to stab someone, which can also result in death.
